Every Asian child that goes in the United States school is
considered to be geniuses and Chinese by many Americans. Moreover, the media
also supports this stereotype. For example, in most American movies or films, the
doctor or scientist is usually portrayed to be an Asian.
In my opinion, those Americans forget that Asia is a really
big continent. In fact, there are seven big regions and more
than fifty countries in Asia.
In addition, there are more Asian geniuses that actually
come from India and
Iran. According to The Times of India, as many as 36% of
Indians work in NASA and 38% of doctors in United States are Indians. There are
also 43% of Iranians in NASA.
Sometimes, it is not good to be an Asian student who comes
from China or look like a Chinese, from American point of view, since the math
or science teachers can expect him or her to be great at theirs subjects.
